Durability
The Lock is designed to operate, maintenance free, for many years. Due to its extremely low power consumption (< 1mA), the CL2i will not require battery changes for an extremely long period in most applications. This enables simplified and infrequent maintenance scheduling.Forced Opening Resistance
The lock can resist steady load attack of up to 800N / 176lbs without failure. During testing, the lock remains secure during the test and operates normally afterwards. Some change in the free play on the door (not the lock) is permitted, but not enough to cause it to open.

Electronics - Firmware
The CL2i has secure firmware built-in which cannot be accessed from outside the lock. This firmware manages an advanced iButton access control system which is fully integrated into the lock.
