iButton Key Management

The CL2i Cabinet/Drawer Lock has iButton^® access control and key management built- in. It needs no external control system.

iButton^® System Overview

The CL2i iButton maximises key and user flexibility.

• 160 users can be assigned to each lock
• A single key can be assigned to any number of locks. (eg: a manager could carry only one key to open all locks in the department whilst individual users have access to designated locks only).
• An "administrator" controls access rights to all keys and locks.
• Keys may be "deleted" by the administrator with or without the user or user key being present.

Power Consumption

All Servocell CL2 locks consume extremely low power – and only for only 5 seconds per authorisation.

Whilst the door is open or closed and no key has been presented, the lock is in sleep mode, consuming almost zero power. This allows for up to 350,000 cycles between battery changes.
