CL2 Networking Solutions
The CL2 Cabinet/Drawer lock is available in three formats, all of which can be deployed to provide a fully controllable network of locks.
Low Power Consumption
Due to extremely low power consumption, all Servocell locks can be powered, using appropriate software, from very low current sources such as computer network or USB cables, etc, without need for external power supplies.
Where external power supplies are available or required, the low power requirement enables many more locks to be driven from a single power source than systems using motor or solenoid driven locks.
Single iButton® Access Control >> Multiple Unlock
A single key presented to the control box grants access to all locks on the network. This type of system is useful when a single key presentation is required to open several cabinets or drawers.

Single RFID + Keypad >> Multiple Unlock
As above, but RFID and Keypad are used as the single point of access to control all locks on the network.

PC driven Network
Due to the extremely low power consumption and low operating voltage, the Servocell lock can be controlled directly from a PC – either through USB or standard RJ45 network cable.

Third party Access Control System
Here, Servocell locks may be integrated into a user specified or existing access control system.

PC driven Network with battery backup
The Servocell CL2i (with iButton access control) can also be networked, if required, via a PC. This variant operates via a USB hub so individual locks can be accessed separately by distinct opening commands.

Built-in Network Solutions
Servocell are currently developing network capability directly into the CL2i, thus giving users all the benefits of the CL2i system without having to add further networking hardware.
Two alternatives of self contained network will become available as shown here:
