CL2i Battery operated Lock with integral iButton® access control
The CL2i iButton version is a freestanding solution, allowing both single lock operation and multi lock function on a network. Networking is achieved using either a PC/interface box, or through the lock's built-in network management that will be available soon. In this way, any selection of locks may be opened simultaneously.
With a single key programmed to open one or more locks, a manager can have overall rights where more junior staff are restricted to selected cabinets only. Keys are easily "deleted" in the event of loss or personnel leaving with their key and new keys may be assigned at will.
CL2iA Audit Trail version of the CL2i
The CL2iA, to be offered shortly, is a CL2i plus low cost audit trail feedback. Data is collected from each lock by an Audit iButton® key and, as in any feedback system, this records who opened – or attempted to open - a particular lock and at what time/date. The difference is that the CL2ia can do all this from a nonnetworked system that runs on batteries!
CL2v Electronic Lock for integration into 3rd party access control system
Some users have their own preferred access control system and, whilst not requiring the iButton® facility, need a low energy lock that consumes minimal power and is even capable of running off a USB port or PC network cable. The CL2v operates identically to the CL2i, but without the built-in iButton access control or battery. It requires a simple signal of between 5-12 volts DC to activate.
Where required, Servocell are able to offer complete access control and lock systems based on this design.
