Developer Kit
Servocell's Developers Kits enable the engineer to develop a fuller understanding of how our Active Latch modules work and how they are used in the design and development of products. Kits provide, in a cost effective way, hands on experience in the development of new systems.
Targeted at design engineers currently using solenoid, motor and other means of actuation, the Active Latch offers all the improved operating capabilities of piezo ceramic actuators in a deployable solution. Solid state design results in unit cost reduction, low power consumption, smaller footprint and low heat output, all of which are essential to in-field and/or battery operated applications.
Typically, mechanisms using the AL require 90-96% less power than conventional solenoid and motor-driven designs.
